Aston Martin is celebrating a victory in the prestigious Car Design Award, presented at the Salone dell\u2019 Auto Torino, Italy.<\/p>\n

The new DB11 was named Production Car of the Year on June 15, 2016, by a jury of experts from 10 international automotive magazines.<\/p>\n

The jury stated: \u201cThe design team has further evolved Aston Martin\u2019s historical design cues and proportions\u2014an elongated bonnet, aluminium roof and muscular rear fenders\u2014a more daring interpretation. Flowing in an unbroken arc from A-pillar to C-pillar, the dramatic new roof strake adds a new flavour of modernity to the DB11. Once again Aston Martin has demonstrated of being capable to blend elegance and power.\u201d<\/p>\n

The first product launched under the company\u2019s \u2018Second Century\u2019 plan, DB11 showcases a fresh and distinctive design, pioneering aerodynamics and is powered by a potent new in-house designed 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine.<\/p>\n
