Photo: courtesy Infiniti.<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n Infiniti Motor Company<\/a> will introduce new vehicles with electrified powertrains from 2021.<\/p>\n According to Nissan chief executive officer Hiroto Saikawa, customers can expect beautifully designed vehicles like the Q Inspiration concept, which made its debut in Detroit at the 2018 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).<\/p>\n The vehicle was awarded Best Concept Vehicle and Best Designed Interior by EyesOn Design at the 2018 NAIAS.<\/p>\n The Q Inspiration concept explores the future of the mid-size sedan segment with a combination of an innovative VC-Turbo powertrain, next-level autonomous drive technologies and a unique human-centric interior.<\/p>\n The Q Inspiration concept\u2019s exterior will form the basis of the future of the Infiniti\u2019s brand\u2019s sedan design, with a coupe-like roofline and mid-size sedan proportions.<\/p>\n Infiniti\u2019s new vehicles will include a mix of pure electric vehicles (EV) and e-Power vehicles\u2014demonstrating the full range of its low-emission vehicle technology.<\/p>\n Infiniti\u2019s proprietary e-Power technology features a small gasoline engine that charges a high-output battery. This eliminates the need for an external charging source, providing the convenience of re-fueling with petrol, while offering the same driving experience as a pure EV.<\/p>\n Because of this emphasis on low-emission technology, Infiniti<\/a> expects more than half its global sales to be comprised of electric vehicles by 2025.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Infiniti Motor Company will introduce new vehicles with electrified powertrains from 2021.
