Harley-Davidson launches Canadian motorcycle boot camp events

Harley Davidson ModelsHarley-Davidson has launched Motorcycle Boot Camp; a national program specifically tailored to men who have yet to start riding.

Harley-Davidson recognizes that there are a ton of questions about how to get started and wants to make it as easy as possible for new riders by offering orientation sessions on subjects such as the basics of motorcycling, Harley-Davidson Factory Customization, motorcycling gear, and the Harley-Davidson motorcycle model families, in a fun and vibrant group atmosphere.

Retailers will customize events based on language and regional culture, making every event unique. Attendees can expect to mix and mingle over food and drinks throughout the night. Learning session stations will be set up in the Store and will include a JUMPSTART simulator session, encouraging potential riders to hop on a bike, start the engine, switch gears, and feel the rumble of their first “test ride”.

Other session topics include:

H-D1 FIT SHOP – Harley-Davidson is all about customization. Attendees will be shown how they can make a Harley-Davidson motorcycle their own through special customization options, and express their personalities by adapting a bike’s look, sound, riding position, and mechanical options.

Service Department Tour – From Dyna to Sportster models and Touring to CVO models, all six model families will be explained and outlined. This is where attendees get their hands dirty! Taking them behind the scenes of the service area, and introducing them to the feeling of wrenching on a motorcycle. Attendees will leave feeling confident and knowledgeable in all things Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

MotorClothes Products and General Merchandise – Riding gear, seasonal necessities, and safety are all aspects that will be highlighted in this session. The importance of the proper gear is crucial in the sport of motorcycling. Attendees can try on gear, including the new Black Label collection.

Motorcycle Boot Camp will showcase the Black Label MotorClothes collection, designed to attract a younger rider. It is a street-inspired collection with a custom washed, worn, and comfortable look, evoking an authentic, rebel attitude with a casual feel.
